Yes, it’s been really hard for me to step away.

In fairness, he very concretely (and sweetly) said “good bye” to me a little over 2 years ago. It’s all a bit complicated and I prefer to keep some things private.

But I share that so it’s clear he’s confused but not a jerk.

I thank you for the kind words — I suppose I default to humility, but, yes, I certainly deserve to find someone who rejoices in the opportunity to date me! Finding that guy (and one who I share those feelings) remains elusive.
