Yes, I found that “80’s alternative” really covers from about 1978–1992/1993. (A lot of songs from 1978 and 1979 sound like they’re from 1981–1983.)

It’s so fun to latch onto a great live performance from our favorite bands. There’s a Depeche Mode gig in Paris from 2001 (or so — I’m doing it from memory) that is pretty insane. So glad you’re enjoying the 2016 Cure show! I will check it out.
