Who knows how I come across via my writing, but in person I’m direct but very even-keeled. It really takes a lot for me to get perturbed (though some of the responses to my stories have gotten me worked up — it still feels unnatural to my introverted self to write so publicly and vulnerably).

Your little poem was an absolute hoot and delight! So glad you took that risk and it really did make my day. It was also happily received by my handful of FB friends!

You have such a quirky voice and I think it’s fabulous! I’m a big ol’ Anglophile, too, so maybe that somehow plays into it.
