While it’s been discouraging, it’s nice to have confirmation that I’m not crazy. (FWIW my therapist has said the same thing. She has recommended that I move — she thinks it’s that bad here and knows how much I miss the Deep South. Though I may certainly still wind up single no matter where I live.)

I have theories — I think there is an endless supply of younger women here and I think alcohol has a lot to do with it. Almost every casual sex story I hear of here locally involves drinking.
