I have not reached out to him since that phone call (about 3 weeks ago) and wondered if he would ever contact me again. Just last night I got this random video message from him about some cute critter he found at his house. (No mention of my name or any sort of acknowledgement of me in any way.)

I have to assume he sent that video to multiple people and included me as a “feeler.” You will be pleased to know that I have not responded not do I intend to!
