Originally I thought I might be able to create a mixtape featuring only covers of the Stone Roses’ songs, but realized two things: (1) most of the covers are really poor and (2) the Stone Roses are even more talented than I realized — virtually everyone who attempted to cover them pales in comparison.

I was determined, though, and when I found the choir interpretation I knew it was worthy of being included.

I’ve been revisiting their B-sides and I know they’ll find their way into future mixtapes.
