I’m so sorry to hear about your family’s losses, but pleased that my selections resonated with you! At this point, I trust my mixtape/music instincts. Obviously I had no idea that some of these songs would have such powerful memories for you. But I’ll share that it’s not uncommon for me to pick a song for someone and it will have some special significance that I wasn’t privy to.

It really does seem to be some sort of bizarre gift. And I’m glad that you reached out to me to ask for a dedication! I’ve been questioning whether my mixtapes are a worthy endeavor anymore. The changes to the payment structure have hit this arm of my writing. I guess as long as a few people still want to hear/read what I come up with, I’ll keep cranking ’em out.
