My mom’s a food addict and has tried EVERYTHING. She found a pretty hardcore food plan maybe 15 years ago and it finally worked for her. It’s very restrictive (I could never do it), but it’s the only thing that works for her. And that’s what matters. It took her trying all sorts of other programs for decades before she found one that worked.
My point: the terminology of eating plan (or food plan) sounds totally legit to me based on my mom’s language. And trying some fresh ideas makes a lot of sense to me.
