My 6 degrees to Inspiral Carpets story: I reached out to the drummer, Craig Gill, in 2018. He did music tours of Manchester/Madchester/Factory Records and I was hoping to make arrangements. He kept blowing me off. Later I found out that he'd committed suicide in 2017. What a bummer! I found another tour guide and had a wonderful time but always felt bad about Craig.
