Probably not.
I spun the musical dial here at BMT and here’s where it landed: a random collection of some of my favorite MJ covers by a host of folks from around the globe!
I know he can be polarizing, but I dig his music. It’s that simple.
So today is a celebration of the music of one of the greatest pop icons of any generation!
This doesn’t usually happen: this is the very first song I discovered and it lands the first spot on today’s mixtape.
Actually, I was SO moved by Jose Feliciano’s “I Wanna Be Where You Are” that I stuck it into my Medium drafts immediately upon hearing it a few weeks ago. I knew I was going to create an entire mixtape around it.
