One word evokes so much happiness!

It’s true that some of these bands aren’t actually from Manchester, but they do share that vibe. There’s a kinship to each of the bands featured today.

Today’s songs start on the gentler side of the scene. I suppose I begin around early afternoon with my first song, progressing through the day into the evening, and end up at the club around midnight or so.

My followers know that this is one of my very favorite genres of music, so I hope you’ll hop along for my latest musical exploration.

Obscure finds, awesome live performances, and iconic songs are featured.

A special thanks to Dan K for being my muse. He asked for some new tunes but didn’t toss out any parameters. I hope I haven’t missed the mark with my selection — I always love the chance to share music from the 80s and early 90s!
