Kimbra isn’t a household name, but she should be! Best known for accompanying Gotye on “Somebody That I Used to Know,” she deserves recognition in her own right.

Whatever “it” is, Kimbra’s got it in spades! Telegenic, delicate, vulnerable, funky, unusual, and the talent to back it up.

The vibrant, colorful video for “Cameo Lover” captivated me so much that it converted me into a Kimbra fan. The tune is infectious and joyous.

Although I love the official video, this live performance of “Cameo Lover” showcases just how talented Kimbra is.

I think she’s one of the most interesting pop-esque singers out there. Stunningly beautiful, very authentic, slightly quirky, and that voice!

I feel a Xanadu/Olivia Newton John vibe through the lens of the 2010s. I am ON BOARD with that combo!

She’s gorgeous, but it’s her joie de vivre that jumps through the screen even more than her beauty. I dig her voice, the jauntiness of the tune, and her overall vibe.

Miracle” is a bright, effervescent pop song that I am known to put on repeat!

I appreciate Kimbra’s versatility. She has a broad range and veers into different musical styles, but her essence is always there.

Something in the Way You Are” shimmers in its loveliness and intensity. A sophisticated love story and lullaby that twinkles with a depth and a beat.

Wow! This live performance of “Two Way Street” is uber sultry, pretty, and strong.

It really is a travesty that Kimbra is still mostly off the grid. This is a gorgeous tune with undercurrents of funk. Not another cookie-cutter love song. It’s impossible for me to pick a favorite — each of these songs is SO good!

Loooove this song! “Warrior” was a collaboration between Mark Foster, A-Trak, and Kimbra. I think they need to crank out something else together!

I tend to celebrate music from last century, but there IS good music out there if you look for it. I’m keeping my eye out on Kimbra — she’s a star, for sure!
