It's certainly possible. I think it's equally likely that I caught him at a low point of his life. He was so devastated by his family member's cancer diagnosis. He had some other very serious personal matters he was/is dealing with that I'm leaving out intentionally. He might have just been overwhelmed and lashed out at me.

In any case, we stay in contact very sporadically but it feels like this has run its course more-or-less. I'm trying to stay focused on the wonderful time we had together, which really was fabulous.
