It’s certainly not something I’m proud of and not what I had hoped for. But I’ve only been in one long-term relationship (on-and-off for 18 months — it ended over 3 years ago) and a 3 month relationship since my separation/divorce about 5 years ago.

That means that I have been single most of that time. I rarely have second dates, so…lots of first dates that lead nowhere. C’est la vie!
