Is It Time for The Bachelorette - Medium Edition?
I’m totally serious
Several years ago I semi-jokingly tossed out the idea of a Medium edition of The Bachelorette. Loosely, the concept is to take a handful of fellow single female dating/relationship Medium writers, go somewhere fun, and invite single guys (writers, followers, and/or readers) from Mediumland to join us.
Upon reflection, maybe this is less The Bachelorette and more Bachelorettes in Paradise.
There was some mild interest but then Covid happened and the idea faded away. I think it’s time to resurrect it if there’s still interest.
I don’t have a lot of preconceived ideas about what the details look like and acknowledge that it needs to be fleshed out.
I can say I don’t want to be the lone Bachelorette. I feel like there should be a handful of us. Originally I had Stella Guan, Niki Marinis, and Vanessa Torre to round out the group.
Stella and I have chatted. She does not want to be one of the potential bachelorettes (she’s not quite single at the moment) but is very interested in attending to support in some capacity.
I’m not sure Vanessa is single anymore and I’ve not heard much from her in some time, but it would be great if Vanessa was interested. If Niki is still single, I think…
