I’m finally beginning to understand the fish photos — thank you for your explanation!

I certainly don’t begrudge someone a hobby, but the prevalence of fish photos has been rather shocking. They outnumber bathroom selfies!

If I see a guy with more than 1 fish photo I assume that he is a big outdoorsman and we would be ill-suited for each other. (I like boats and the outdoors, but I’m not a fisherwoman.)

I dated someone who finally helped me to understand why he enjoyed fishing so much. I’m not against fishing per se, but you’ve only got a handful of pictures to choose for a dating profile. When you select LOTS of fish photos it sends a message that we aren’t likely to be compatible.
