Iconic Song: “I’d Rather Go Blind”
My Favorite 14 Covers

I agree with Kelly Clarkson. I’ll take “I’d Rather Go Blind” ANY DAY over “At Last.” It’s not even close.
THIS song…oh, this song.
The longing, the intensity, the passion.
I’ve procured rockin’, bluesy, soulful, and romantic interpretations for you. If you aren’t that familiar with this one (I wasn’t until about 5 or 6 years ago), I hope you’ll find some time to explore it.
It’s a REALLY special song!
I never really gave this much thought, but I’m probably more of a Faces fan than a Rod Stewart fan.
I mean, he’s fantastic. An icon.
But aside from “People Get Ready” and “Young Turks,” I never seek out his solo music.
In fact, I had no idea that he and the Faces had covered this tune.
I’m so glad I discovered it!
It’s got an awesome blend of cocky rock with pained blues, making it a unique interpretation and a worthy inclusion.
If you’re a guitar fan, this one is not to be missed!
I cannot even process this.
If y’all could see me! I’m laughing and closing my eyes and keep throwing up my hands.
Ok, Margie Joseph.
I feel ya.
I. am. feelin’. you!
I’ve never really gotten the “sweet and sexy” thing. Now I get it.
This vocal oozes sweet but, day-yum if it isn’t one of the sultriest things I’ve ever heard.
I’d never heard of Margie Joseph before today. What a passionate, nuanced vocal!
