I Tried Grounding for the First Time Today

My four-legged neighbors aren’t happy

For those following along, I continue to make tweaks to my life in an effort to recover from my various health ailments associated with perimenopause.

Acupuncture, chiropractors, alternative treatments, cranial therapy, massage therapy, diet tweaks, and supplements.

So. many. supplements!

It’s like health whack-a-mole these days. As soon as I get one problem addressed, another pops up.

I may end up on HRT, but I’m exhausting homeopathic options first.

One thing I’ve been consistent about is my two hours of daily exercise. Unless it’s raining or below 45 degrees, I take an hourly walk. I’m a believer in the benefits of fresh air and movement.

My latest lifestyle tweak: the grounding phenomena.

I considered buying the indoor grounding mat contraption but realized the effects were supposed to mimic being outside.

It seemed a lot cheaper to just, ya know, use the free grass in my small very unkempt (okay, totally trashed) backyard.

Since moving into my circa 2000 townhouse, I typically avoid my backyard for two reasons.
