I think almost all of the communication and sex (and much of the availability) questions are specific to today’s dating landscape. Anyone over the age of 18 (16?) is dealing with those issues. Almost no one in the ’90s would have dealt with many of those issues.

I also think more people than ever are telecommuting so the question of whether they even live in the same time zone as you is more prevalent than ever. SO many guys in Austin live here “part time” (which gets very confusing) so that would impact any age group. There has always been some long distance relationships, but (at least in Austin) it feels VERY different and like a larger proportion of the population is living/working in different parts of the country/world.

But, yes, the baggage section is mostly specific to my age cohort.
