I immediately blew past those people as it indicates that they 1) immature and don’t know the value of life 2) looking for causal hook-ups 3) would dismiss women who don’t party as hard as they do as boring. And of course, some dudes might not even know what that sentence means and just copied and pasted to make them sound cool.

I will say in the context of dating apps and websites, however, I think Stella Guan has probably nailed it.

If nothing else, Shani Silver has (once again) relayed my thoughts on the subject! Even if a guy means those words in the context of what Mike has shared, to me (and clearly many other women) it just comes across as some combo of: flippant, insipid, and/or I want a hook-up/FWB/drinking buddy.

None of that is appealing to me. (And I always assume that it would be mutual: that they would have no interest in me either.)
