I see 4-8 years regularly listed. If I'm lucky it will 14 years for me to go through perimenopause completely. (I wouldn't be surprised if it's even 15 or 16.) But I tend to be unusual in so many ways! In any case, I forgot to mention the creepiest symptom I have: face tingling/nerve weirdness that runs from my eye to my mouth. It mildly burns basically all the time. Another estrogen issue. The acupuncturist is optimistic she can treat this and has seen it in other women, but I have NEVER heard of anyone talking about this. Sigh.

On a happier note, I promise to write a future story about things that HAVE worked for me!
