I have to edit things out of my stories for the sake of brevity. (As it is, I often run a couple minutes longer read time than I'd prefer.) There were a few comments that he made when we were together combined with how he treated me while I was at his place that led to me being more blunt with him about my boundaries than I usually am. I'll never know if I'd just kept my mouth shut if the outcome would have been different, but I can tell you that his words and actions made me...uncomfortable. Many thanks for your feedback.
