I have been asked out in “real life” by exactly one guy in the past 4 years. It would be lovely if I were constantly meeting charming, single men who would like the opportunity to get to know me on an emotional level. Sadly, that is not my reality.
I have asked out numerous guys to concerts (where I paid for the ticket), paid for babysitting, and even paid for travel expenses for some of my beaus. I do not use men for meal tickets/financial gain. As explained here:
