I agree that things seem to have gotten worse (at least in the 5 years I’ve been online dating), but I hang in there for 2 reasons: (1) I’d have ZERO dates if I didn’t use dating apps AND (2) occasionally I have met someone worthwhile.

But it really can be rather demoralizing!
