I actually looked at Raleigh upon graduating UT - Austin, but landed in Charlotte instead. It was a dream to experience 4 seasons, but then I learned that I actually really don't love winter! Three months of a frozen car got old - I joke that maybe I would have stayed if I'd had a garage. In any case, I seem to prefer 3 seasons with a mild winter. Best of luck on finding your perfect spot!
