My advice (for what it’s worth): Lead with a close-up of a serious expression or barely smiling. Include at least one full body shot plus one full smile. Get as creative as you want with the rest.

I think your next story should be that your Medium audience gets to pick your main profile pic! (I’m laughing over here — but I think I have a genius idea!)
