Finally! It took me long enough.
Months ago I promised my friend, George J. Ziogas, that I would craft a mixtape featuring Aussies.
I’ve left off some of my favorite Aussie singers (like ONJ and Kylie) and opted to keep my focus tight: alt-80’s, of course!
Though most of these bands had at least some crossover success here in the States, they’re all tangentially part of the alternative scene.
As always, I’ve dug up obscure picks, awesome live performances, and neglected favorites.
This one is dedicated to my pal George — he’s got SUCH a positive life outlook that’s inspiring and infectious!
