A BMT Mixtape
The BMT menagerie certainly isn’t all-encompassing. Wolves, snakes, and birds (among others) were considered…and ultimately dismissed.
I may create a second volume of this theme in the future!
But today I’ve got 80s and 90s tunes featuring, yes, a hodge-podge of animals.
As varied as today’s songs are, I think almost all of them had some chart success — in England and/or the States (or both).
My latest BMT has it all: Blockbusters, live performances, reinterpreted versions, and obscure picks.
I considered keeping this mixtape solely “alternative,” but couldn’t resist leading off with this 80s anthem.

At least I ferreted out an excellent live performance. Granted, Jami Jamison is lead vocalist here rather than the original Dave Bickler.
