After seeing "Longlegs," I immediately thought of "The Black Phone" with Ethan Hawke. It's not even close: I prefer the latter. But I think as a director, Oz Perkins could really knock it out of the park in the future. In fact, I'll be surprised if he doesn't go onto MUCH bigger things.
